The operator behind Edge IQ Consulting

Edge IQ Consulting was founded by James Todd Bruce, but his friends know him as Todd Bruce. He spent more than 20 years in software development, infrastructure, analytics, and project management before turning that experience toward one problem: helping owner-led businesses use AI and automation that actually saves time and makes money, without the hype, tool overload, or shelfware most vendors sell.

Experience that comes from doing the work

James Todd Bruce spent more than 15 years in application development across the travel and hospitality industry, creating, managing, and automating pricing and rate systems, first for Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group and then Hertz Rent A Car. He followed that with over 5 years in infrastructure in the transportation industry at J.B. Hunt Transport, where he led projects for the Performance Engineering, Data Governance & Privacy, Enterprise Messaging, and Infrastructure Automation teams. That two-decade span (hands-on with automation, data governance, and enterprise systems at scale) is why every Edge IQ Consulting engagement starts with the workflow, not the software: most AI problems are really workflow problems in disguise.
